Hey all,http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/legionxs/wavey.gif

Just thought that I would say hi, just got my first Duke, a rather pretty S2R in Red and White, already changed my Pipes to Arrow Carbon....sounds fantastic.http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/otn/realhappy/luxhello.gif

I feel I need a steering damper though because things get very blustery at 70+ maybe my weight is an issue (6'4 and 19st) as my brother said (he has a 750SS and just lost his 900 Monster) I'm the only person he knows who can make an S2R look like a Mini Moto :( still I love it anyway.

Any ideas from you guys about things to definately do to the bike? or those to stay away from?

See you all around.

Hiya Yeti :)

welcome to the asylum - mines a bottle of red, cheers :D

Might be worth you popping along to brands on Sunday, as the will be a few (or as its forecast for dry weather, read: LOTS) of Ducati's there.
Ducati UK will be there too - and almost trackside parking for Ducati's only.

Have fun with the bike :)

C :burnout:

Or if ya fancy heading the opposite direction the Ace cafe is running it's 12th annual Rockers Reunion down to Brighton on Sunday - they're expecting up to 80,000 bikes so there's bound to be a few Ducatis there too.

there's a few threads on here already but looky here --> http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/showthread.php?t=14149&highlight=rockers
and a link to the Ace's page --> http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/f6.htm

Welcome to the fold anyway.

Hi and welcome!
I'm surprised no-one (esp. JMo) hasn't suggested a tail chop yet... :rolleyes:
Either way I have found the modification virus to be more of a planted seed...you don't need to catch it from someone else. :D
