A little help please. Basically, do UK spec. 900ie have a balance pipe connecting the inlet manifolds?
I have an american spec 900sie which has a Californian, carbon filled emiisions canister to "collect the fumes" from the inlet manifold and Petrol tank when you switch off!! Has anyone removed one of these before?..
Thought not.. It links into a pair of rubber hoses each going to one of the inlet manifolds. When i junk the cannister (to make way for high level exhaust routeing) should I connect up the two hoses so there is a balance pipe between the inlet manifolds, or just ditch these and blank off the nipples on the inlet manifolds?

Thanks Ped, ..just blank them off then.
Thats a useful site generally. I did the crank case breather mod already as Baines once told me it was worth a couple of horse power due to relieving the pumping pressures under the pistons.
I've also done the rear ride height a week ago and its a significant improvement so i can vouch for that.
Cheers again
