It appears that the 2000 - 2002 Fuel Injected 900 Monster has a unique design of engine sprocket that has a shallow boss on both sides instead of a deeper boss on one side. No problem really unless as is popular you want to go down a tooth, as no one makes a sprocket to suit.
AFAM (OE suppliers?) do the original 15t but not a 14t.
JT Sprockets (suppliers of most aftermarket kits?) incorrectly list the single boss one, which I have emailed them about.
For some reason it just appears to be this model. Let me know if you know different.
Anyway, I've just commissioned the manufacture of some at Talon, they should be ready late September and be priced under £25.
