I just thought I'd share my thought on these relativley new tyres,
At the UKMOC track day I was introduced the the Area rep for
Michelin.
After chatting to Darren for a while a mentioning that I never use
Michelin because IMO they are pants (fit my more colourfull words here)
he offered me a set to try in a bid to get my off my favored
Dunlop 208rr's. (free tyres!! me the King of Blag!! yes please)
In due course a pair of nice new tyres turned up at Woody's shop,
I fitted them to my nice new wheels (well not me Mark fitted them
I cant work the Tyre machine) and off I went.
Well I've done 500 miles on, them some dry some wet and some
on a track day, and I have to say I'm converted they are the best
tyres I have ever used.
Great feel, predictable & really quick to warm up.
They seem to be great in all conditions.
I know a lot of Ducati owners prefer Pirelli but the next time your
due a set of Tyres give these a go you wont be disappointed,

ps Dont get the Pilot Powers confused with the Pilot sport (the sports
are still pants)

Michi pilots are good......(and kink of blag gets a new set)...you feel confident in the wet on them...(for us wet weather riders)..

Took Terrys bike round Lydden with these on for some 'spirited riding' (!!), and they did indeed rate right up there with the diabolo corsas I run (and no one detests Michelins more than me !!).

Even managed to get his nice shiny downpipes scuffed up eh mate..??

Got these as standard on my S4r was bit worried after michelins i had in the past, but they are great, good grip in wet and dry, feel very sure footed to and I love the tread pattern makes the tire look very wide :D

Still got a Michelin Pilot Race Soft on the front and just fitted a Michelin Pilot Race S2 to the rear. Brand new got it warm and surfed roundabouts all this evening, till it rained. Anyone else used S2's before??? ..... Yorkie.

Had Pilots on for a while now - soft S2 compound front and normal road compound at the back. Been really pleased with them and considered another set until the new Power appeared on the scene.

Now wish I'd gone for the softer S2 on the back when I fitted the Pilots, as they wore really well and kept the profile, unlike others that flatted really fast on the rear. May still try the Power's but just landed a spare 900 monster with a brand new set of Diablo's on it, so may just swap wheels for now and save my cash.
