Finally we have managed to get a few extra comfort seats out of Ducati and now that we've sent out all the back orders we had we have two left in stock so if anyone's interested in getting one the cost is £203 inc vat. They are item number 969577AAA and suit all Monsters built 2000 onwards.

We also have one 36 litre black top box kit & rack for Monsters from 2002 ref 967205aaa, price with vat £198.

Photo's of both attacvhed, any interest please shout.

Stuart - Do the comfort saddles actually look like that now :confused:

I'm sure that your image is the one from the catalogue, but the actual item IMO looks better - see attached for a slightly obscured view :rolleyes:

I can recommend this item if you want to do big miles but don't carry enough padding on your own backside :D ... 300 miles in one day - no worries

Well spotted, the picture I used was out of the catalogue and the newer design is better and more stylish

Wossit made of? Is it gel? Surely the seat cover looks like it'd absorb a ton of water?

The outer cover should be waterproof otherwise Ducati would never sell any. I can't tell you the exact make up of the seat but there's plenty of people in the club that have had them and I'm sure someone would have complained if they were riding on a giant sponge.

The seat cover is textured, but it IS WATERPROOF - absolutely no worries on that count :) :)

I may have to get one of those after my day riding to and from the Ace, perhaps I am just getting old. :(
