Beats my best effort to date Lenny - 16lb 4oz carp last Autumn. Mind you my mate Pete landed a 26 pounder the same session.

I'm guessing yours must have been getting on for 30lb?

no ! it was 46lb :D carp i also got a catfish the same day weighing in at 46.1/2lb :D linda got a 35.3/4lb carp and my son got a 36lb carp and we never ate 1 of them
