Ive got just the thing..! A few of us in UKMOC are doing Lydden in Kent on the 20/8..;

a) Run by No Limits who are a top outfit and dont tolerate muppetary on track.
b) Has a novice group which you will feel comfortable in
c) Gonna have a few of us monnie riders so we can have a good fun day out together
d) At £95 its a bargain !!!

Hope to see you there !!

Novice is novice - trust me im a salesman !!! I think most track virgins with reasonable road riding experience are surpised at the level of riding in novice -ive seen goldwings and VFRs plodding around in novice groups and why the hell not ?...you dont have to be dragging your knee to have a good timne..most people just want to have the expereince of riding around a track !!!

Check this thread out..

I think theres about 4 of us staying over the night before and there should be quite a contingent truning up to spectate from what ive heard !!

BTW - Theres the annual IOW ride out this weekend...see here;

me and wifey are going and your welcome to join us for the ride down to the ferry..a great chance to meet a few of the regulars !!

Cheers

A bit closer to you is Castle Combe on the 24 August. I have one place at a 100 pounds available. Small groups and plenty of instruction available make it an excellent first track day.

Let me know if you're interested.

Andy, Lydden is perfect for novice riders, it's where I did my first ever trackday and I've been back a few times I love it that much.

It's a very small circuit and not too technical, come along and have some fun! :D
