The show starts at 9:30am and it's £8.50 to get in (tickets on the gate)


I'm aiming to get there for 11am - I'd like to say that I'll get there earlier but I'm being realistic! :lol:

Just got back from todays outing.....not quite was I was expecting, especially the hour long queue for a coffee! Still, it was nice day out :D

If we hadn't gone along.

To me, a disappointment, a little to much "show" and a little too little "bike".
I think they miscalculated the success of their advertising and it demonstrates Yorkshire deserves a good show as there was so much interest.

"What did you do today mummy?"
"I went the the Great Yorkshire Bikeshow, and stood in a queue for over an hour for a cup of tea. By the time I got there I needed something to eat, I was all weak from the standing."
"Sounds like a cunning ploy."

Hopefully they'll learn their lessons and pick a better location and content for next year.

Liked Hebden Brisge, and went for a ride out to Devil's Bridge, and Settle on the way home - most gratifying and I feel all much betterer now thankyou.

I've got to agree with you Nic, I found the content disappointing too. Maybe they'll get the mix right by next year....not sure how keen I'll be to go along to find out though.
