It was nice to get out on a proper ride for the fist time after my second spill.........resolutely determined to stay upright for the rest of the summer (at the very least)......... ;)

I did have a couple of pictures, but I couldn't get them uploaded cos they were too big......but they were very nice......

A fine turn out with 10 bikes and ace weather.

The pub at Wainlods must have had 300 bikes in the car park some of the flat tankers being 100 years old. And unusual to see a Hercules Rotary in the same car park as a Suzuki RE5 and a Norton Rotary, thats a complete set on a biking monopoly board.

Great blast back too thanks to Zimbo's right hand.

As a postscript, I got a puncture going home and was very late back, having to stop for air in Stroud, Stroudwater and Falfield. (ouch tight bastard garage owners charged money for air)

Tyre on there was only fitted 10 days ago and had done just about 800 miles. Amazing what a rip off soft tyres are as it was almost on the wear indicator in that short time but being as new Supersports Avons cost me only £75 per pair from a guy on ebay it was not so painful.

Got a new tyre of harder compound today and had a pleasurable few hours scrubbing them in with JR who also got a new tyre..
