Very advance warning, but I shall remind you all nearer the date -

A rather good band by the name of Back Street Symphony is playing "The Bunch of Grapes" in Bristol on 8th October. It's their first gig that side of the Severn and they would be grateful for any support you guys can offer.

I am of course biased as my other half is the guitarist, but check out the website and make up your own minds ;)

There must be a dozen pubs of that name in the city, is it the one in Denmark Street next to the Hippodrome where they have a load of live bands during the week?

Great set list and thats the 2nd time today I have seen mention of Rory Gallagher. Did you know theres a street corner in Temple Bar, Dublin called Rory Gallagher Corner?

Thanks Duncan - yes it is the one by the Hippodrome.

Glad you like the set list, it is pretty representative of what gets played, though Chorus of the Hebrew slaves hasn't yet made an appearance ! :lol:

If you have a sound card the 5 tracks in the 'music' section are worth a listen.
