My wifes M600 (P reg) has a rather bouncy head light, I've noticed that its mounted on some rubber gromits that seem to make the bounce worse rather than smooth it out. Is this rather common? Is there anything I can do about it?

Check that the adjuster bolt at the back of the headlight is still fitted and has not shook it self out ;) had the same problem with mine

It's worth checking the 2 allen bolts that fix the headlamp support bracket to the bottom fork yoke have not worked loose. This happened on my 900 and the headlamp rattled so much it blew the bulbs dip beam.

As its a P reg, check that the rubber grommet thingys are still in one piece, and have not "corroded" as happened to mine. Same thing is happening to the rubber mounts on my clocks, hey ho.
