Tail chop number plate problem

I recently did a tail chop, but find that, particularly when I have someone on the back, the number plate keeps grinding against the tyre? Anyone else experience this problem? What's the solution?

1. Increase the preload on the rear shock.

2. Increase the rear ride height by using the adjustable link rod from an Sie/S2R etc.

3. Bend the numberplate mounting out at 45° (like Crust has) - won't work if you used the plastic numberplate holder of course.

4. Get an illegal car shape numberplate fitted.

5. Fit your numberplate to a BMW F650GS style rear hugger extension (Like Ade has)

6. Don't take pillions.

7. Choose thinner friends...
