Hi all

Thought I would share with you this monthly event that takes place in the small hamlet of Ashby Folville. (Second Tuesday of the month)

All ages of bikes, cars and sometimes a traction engine take over the village cricket pitch and streets.

There is a pub and a beer tent, poeple begin to arrive from about 5 onwards.

Well worth a ride out for the atmosphere.

it should be the second tuesday of every month, one of my nurses and her boyfriend are really into car events, and she said it was on, but gonna confirm tomorrow morning.

just got back from the meet, very nice indeed. lots of gorgeous cars from ferraris. maseratis, astons even a pink cadillac. lots of bikes too, though ducatis were sorely lacking, just myself and a lonely but very pretty 748.

some fantastic bendy roads to ride up there too, chose not to take the A607 and went through lots of narrow country lanes from oadby via scraptoft, beesby, south croxton and syston.

didnt stay too long as had to head back home for pizza (priorities hey?), but will definitely be heading back next month to check it out again weather permitting.

Been there a couple of times this year £%£&ing brilliant loads of great cars and bikes and everywhere you look there is something interesting

Can not for the life of me understand why anybody goes to Six Hills when this is on, maybe I've missed something

Only downside is the queue for the beer

Will have to give A F another try, the first time the traffic was bluddy horrendous the Bunney Monster and the Bunney got far too hot, I then led the boss and her wife home and ended up in Melton, I had a black visor and a headlight pointing at the front mudgaurd so could`nt see where I was going, all in all a "great" night !! can only get better !

Hi All

The new season is about to get underway and I lead to belive that the meetings will being this Tuesday coming, April 11th, but this will depend on the weather. If there is too much rain it tend to flood!

See you all there.

I was really looking forward to this, but the bike is at Ducati Coventry after sufferring flaking engine paint syndrome so will be out of action for a while.

Looking the lovely spring weather we seem to be having  I think the meet is most likely going to be off anyway.

If anyone braves the rain please post here to let us know how it was...
