by any chance you arent the same Geoff Avern who was around at Speedeworth (when I was there) in the 80's? :confused:

Highly unlikely CK. I don't know what/where Speedeworth is/was and I was living in Sydney until '97. But I know that there are a handful of Avern's in the UK, so I guess one of 'em is Geoff too. Must try to chase him up.

when you say local, that mean NW Surrey? As in SW of London, Staines, Brooklands, that sort of direction?
