Is this just a 1 day trip!?

Reading other postings, you lot get up pretty early for these outings. I'm ok, but the girlfriend takes ages to get ready. Nothing new there then.

Any idea what time you'd be getting on Ferry to and from IOW?

Andy S
28-07-2005, 09:12 PM

Hi Bob,

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the offer.

I have spoken to the girlfriend (The Monster) and she has promised me she'll get up early, and be ready on time. I'm so glad she doesn't read this website, I'd be in big trouble. :D

I'll be taking the A3 then the A31 at Guildford (figure it'll be better than the M3, tell me if I'm wrong).

Do you want to meet up around Guildford?

Ah, I think Bob posted it somewhere, but he may not have... x

We are meeting at Ower Services, with is on the roundabout junction of the A36 and A3090, just north of J2 on the M27.

From Alton you could either go A31/M3/M27 and come off at J2, or go via Winchester and down the A3090 via Romsey...

Either way, we need to assemble from 9.30ish - to refuel and grab a coffee or whatever, before leaving at 10am for the ferry from Lymington...

See you there!

Dahling - I do hope you will choose a B&B (with a shower!) rather than a field, especially if you want to sit anywhere near me during the day...
