OK after all of my rants about the bike being with him for three weeks (one might not count as I left it with him as I was travelling, but he didn't do anything), Daryl at DIT has come up trumps again.

Left the bike with him for an annual service+inspection of the electrics, MOT, and fit some clip ons.

He did the lot, found and replaced a broken brake switch. Replaced the cables for the clip ons (originals too short), found an incorrectly fitted spacer on the rear wheel (worn to the point that the wheel was rubbing on the swing arm and the bearing was almost welded to the wheel), replaced the rear indicators (one buggered) with same motrax types and was generally very very sorry for the delay.

Cost? £179 - That included a paddock stand - he didn't charge me for the cables.

Top bloke, you just really have to hassle him because he takes on too much.

Hello Celt, he's in Washington. "European specialist" though I saw everything there. I'll dig up his number for you and post it up here. Can do a short blast sometime during the week if you fancy?

Any chance you could give me this guy's number cos I'm needing my belts done on my s4 shortly and I don't want to be paying M&S prices

Used to be a senior techie at M&S - he has all of the certs and he is thorough, which can make him a little slow at times. Example - he found that the bearing spacer on the rear wheel had been put in the wrong way. God knows how he spotted that, but it was in a hell of a state when removed.
