Just got a price for chopping in my S4 for a S4R, been offered £4000 for it, as you lot are wise in these matters, how does that sound?
Mines an 02,Red, Lo-level Termi kit inc ecu and open airbox, new diablo's, full Duc service history 6thou on it, excellent nick and the 6k service has been done, inc new belts. What do you reckon? Good price or not so good?
MCN online(parkers price guide) reckons £4500 p/ex and thats without the termi's?
Can you take any notice of these guides?

Hi there

there are 4 on ebay with no bids, 2001/2002 3.5k-4.k(NO bids at all)

I see in MCN that ducati are doing 0% APR on S4R's at the mo

£4,147.50 deposit. and then the rest

sounds like it was made for you :D

hope you get a better result on here

Neil, that sounds ok - see if you can poke them for another £250 (try £500 ;) ), but otherwise, I cant see you getting much of a better deal, as 2nd hand bikes are littering some ducati dealers at the mo.

Cheers Nat! I wondered if anyone would notice :D
Had a damper on the S4, and never had any shakers since! Id recomend one!So i'll be shopping for one for the new toy (dont have any in the van do you?), as the old one wont fit! It will be up for sale soon!

Natty is right about the STEERING DAMPER on a S4R But DO not get a ARROWS STEERING DAMPER thay are rubbish.
Good luck with your S4R

Thanks Boon, I'll remember that! Probably go for the DP one or theres one by "Matris" that looks good! Fancy the style that mounts on the top Yoke, as ive got on the S4, both are about £300 I bet, but if it helps, its got to be done!

Yes, just had a look again and they only list a kit for 1999-2001 or summat. Now basically the unit is the same for all machines its just the fitting kits that differ so you gotta find out if the S4R dimensions are the same as a 2000 monster I reckon. Ive got one coming in Spetember via a cousin in Canada and Ive got to mod it to fit my 98.
