Running Rich?

Got a problem with my carb the plastic choke slider inside the carb has melted and gone out of shape. Just wondering if anybody has had this problem and does any body know if i can buy this part seperatley?

Sounds like you've had a bit of a fire down there! You often see singed air filters. Its when the bike spits back, especially on startup. If you do notice this the best thing to do is keep cranking.

Thanks Al for your help and time,got it sorted filed and cleaned up the old part. just means its runs a little richer than normal when the chokes on,but least the little needle shuts right off and runs normal when chokes off.what a pain in the arse that was! Just been for a burn, running like a dream.
