Sunday 5th looks like being a half decent day - weather wise, so who fancies meeting up at Squires (Sherburn in Elmet, near Leeds)?

Me and Rabbit will be there at 11am :D

Blody bike is STILL in the shop. Mechs just been on to tell me they are now replacing the majority of the cables and re-routing whats left. Some strangeness with the choke cable too. I asked him about fitting some billet resevoirs and hes talking about changing the slave cylinder - £500+ Bollocks to that. My bank manager is going to have a cow this month.

Sorry, the short end is that I won't be at Squires manyana. I do have a bike, honest!

It sounds like they're taking the p*ss to me.

Scotty, Boppy (and Lox) and Tony - See you about 11 - providing it's not p*ssing down!

It went in for it's annual service and MOT. Didn't really need the service because the little blighter only did a few hundred miles last year before it died on me. While it was in I decided to give hime my set of clip ons that I've had knocking about since not fitting them to the last (newer) monny. He didn't do a bloody thing with it and then promised to get it sorted last week. Because I had a rant at him on Saturday he promised to get it finished by today - Guess what? He's obviously taking too much work on - its beginng to read like Peds thread down South.

I'd go and rant at him every chance you get! He might get sick of you and make your bike a priority - you never know, it might work!

Why can't people just be honest with you and tell you if it's going to take a few weeks because they're busy?

I hope he sorts it out soon for you :)

If he's said that I would've risked putting it in with my local bike shop. At least I could walk home.
