Alloy sprocket question.

My C&S are about ready for replacement, after nursing the stock chain to about 13K. What life can you expect from an ally rear sprocket?(road use, not changed at each track) since I was intending to fit a gold HD X-ring jobbie and don't want a 'chocolate' sprocket that wears out after 3K miles. I'm guessing even a hard anodised ally sprocket is considerably softer than a steel one.

My rear Renthall ally sprocket has out lived my steel front one. The rear looks brand new while the front is getting changed this weekend. They have both done about 10k miles.

I use a hard anodised rear on my Busa which sticks out a tad more bhp than my monster! It will be fine.
