I've seen this on Fleabay..... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10448&item=7975044211&rd=1

I've got a yr 2000 600 Dark and it doesn't have a rev counter.....

Does anyone know if this will fit my bike and more importantly does my bike have the bits needed to make the rev counter work?

Just had another look at it and it's got digital bits so I don't think it'd work - oh well!

I don't think it'll fit, but if you feel you need something to indicate revs have you thought of a datatool revlight? I have one on my 900 and it works a treat.

Had my clocks off today the same as you mentioned, the multiplug at the back has a bout 20 terminals (all VERY small0 you will struggle to join to them unless you can source a plug too!

Hmmm.....Think I'll knock that idea on the head then

Thanks for the suggestion Zimbo but I'm not keen on the led ones...I'm a bit old fashioned - I like proper clocks!

If you want a rev counter why not get one from stu at spares shack or natty boy the plug into the coil piggyback style not hard to fit and several different styles to choose from :burnout:

Tigerlily,

The later combined speedo/tacho instrument housings, are also tied into the ECU/Immobiliser on injected monsters like the 620's, so not realy compatible with earlier carbed monsters.

DP & Roadracing both make a neat instrument/idiot light housing, in either carbon fiber or alloy, which includes a new electonic tacho. You just need to add your own speedo and fix the combined unit on the bike

Natty had a few of these to flog a while ago - not sure if he still has any left but may be worth a PM?......

I do like those combined units but I just can't justify the cost (yes I know I'm a skinflint!)

I'm gonna tart up the clock/ idiot lights that I've got by adding this little bargain that I found  ..... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7952516164
