It's odd that we accumulate this knowledge eh?! at least it has now been shared out a bit. I once served Ian Beale, he had a vodka and lemonade....and yes he is a bit of !*!* in real life.

Alex.

Many years ago, when I was a young lass, I used to work in a nightclub and I served Gary Lineker regularly. (with drinks)

Back to Showaddywaddy, they orginate from Leicester you know, I see Romeo walking up and down Gallowtree Gate on a regular basis. My mum used to know Malcolm Allured's mum. She worked in the local Co-Op.

HOW FASCINATING IS THAT?????? :)

I always liked "Under the moon of love"; still humm it from time to time.

Sorry, that's not really helping our friend sell his bike is it?

well I would rather serve Gary than that runt Beale with his feral features and shifty ways....No offence Ian Beale if you are in the club going under the name mads4dukedude, diamonddesmogeezer or some other nonsense......

I know that Showaddywaddy used to wear Bootss No. 7 makeup on stage (and possibly off) coz my mum used to know a guy who did their security at gigs and he used to 'liberate' the occasional bottle of foundation for her. :D

the price of foundation is outrageous, I understand where your mum's coming from Nik.

I saw them play at Boringmouth when I were a lad. And had the ****ty satin effect scarf. Oh dear. Saw Slade there too. Oh dear oh dear...

I get my make up from http://www.dodge-uk.com/ . The Derma Pro range is great on cold skin, but the aquachrome goes all ****ty when subjected to refrigeration. Perma Pro is something else-great to paint on wax.

The "heavy" use of foundation is even more criminal. Just make sure you blend it properly.

I do hope you sell your bike, Mr Showaddywaddy. :)

I thought I'd let this thread run just to see how many would hi-jack it.
The bloke is trying to sell his bike, surely the place for all this other
stuff is random chat and not in the for sale section.
16 of the 17 posts have had sod all to do with the subject.

Fair enough, point taken. Apologies all round.

What I will say in the favour of the slightly humorous diversions is that it's kept the thread close to the top of the pile which must make it more likely to be seen by someone here who hasn't yet got a Monnie. That can't be all bad!

Who said "Any publicity is good publicity"?

And he DID chosose the Username...
