Dark Monster Front Mudguard

Hi I'm looking for an undamaged front mudguard to replace the original on a 98 M600 Dark. If anyone has changed theirs for a carbon one, I'd like to buy your original. Cheers. eric

I've got one off a 2001 M900ie.
Not sure if it's the same fitment though.
Does yours have the later syyle forks with the calipers with the 65mm bolt spacing?

Hi,
Just checked eBay, thanks, unfortunately from 99 onwards the bolt hole spacing is different. I actually prefer the original dark black plastic look, to the carbon. If there are any out there for a 98 Monster dark willing to sell form 50sterling, and in good condition I'd like it. Thanks.

contact chappers the bucks rep, she has the new shape one to sell and before you say the holes are different, also contact paronoid dave, he can tell you about the brackets needed to fit a new shape to an older bike, once its on you cant see the brackets as they are behind the guard..... the new one looks much neater than the old one as it runs down the fork legs further

Thanks Pete, was in contact with Hayley, and as you said, thought it wouldn't work b/c of bolt hole difference but I'll try and get in touch with PDave. Thanks for the suggestion.

the older style ones come up on ebay fairly regularly and I think spareshack do a non carbon one (ie non 75 quid!)
