Front pot missfire

Hi guys, it's me with the funny looking Monster, (still havn't got round to painting it yet). I'm having a bit of trouble with the firing on front pot. It starts no problem then if I open the throttle slightly it will only run on the rear pot, although it think it is sort of trying to fire now and then on the rear. I've swapped plugs, leads, checked all wiring for bad connections, I've checked the carb for the front cylinder. I can't find any reason for the missfire. I havn't checked coils or CDIs. Are these prone to failure? Has anyone any suggestions? :confused:

Have you tried new HT leads - old leads are prone to breaking down under load.

It's nit unheard of for CDI/Coils to misbehave either - could also be the pick ups on the flywheel.
