Nope, (although I have but not near the speedo. When out wandering in the woods, I take my large flint and test combustability of various natural things. Dandelion seed heads make excellent tinder if compacted, or they flare too quickly) I mistakingly put the 5w bulbs from a Cortina in the clock and the extra heat melted the trip cogs. Was nice and bright though!

Spacey, if you can hang on for a little while we have the clock off the race M600 (2001 reg, but 2000 manufacture) somewhere in the depths of the garage. Showed just over 18,000 on it.

Alan isnt in till v v late tonite, and I'm not likely to see him till tomorrow nite, so even if he said it could go, he couldnt post off till Tues at earliest, as we are off to Cadwell on Friday
