Sharon

isn't Albies 900 still for sale? It would be a good start as the history is known and I'm sure he'd be pleased to sell it through here.

Its 120 miles. Just long enough to get that grin from ear to ear permanently on his face. I can deliver if I sell it. I cant deliver to test ride it. I bought it from hertfordshire. What a grin ride home via bucks/beds essex/kent. :D :D

sorry if this sounds abrasive but there is something ironic about wanting a pleasureable means of transport but not being willing to travel a bit for it? I would put one of those smiley confused things but you know what I mean....

That's not the same one I saw on Ebay, it was a lot younger than that one............. I'm not sure about kph and all that but see no reason why that would devalue a bike

Generally imports won't fetch as much as a UK bike, maybe 5-10% less.

It's not unusual to get cought with head lights that dip the wrong way as well as Kph speedos. You also run the risk of not knowing the history prior to importation assuming it wasn't new when brought in. The latest fleabay bike was probably not new as it has kph clocks.

If the bike was imported and sold as new (unregistered) it should have the right headlight and clocks.

He got a monster 900 and I think it's a dark, well it's black, so I guess it is, a P Reg I believe with good mileage and a service history, that hasn't stopped him pinching my haynes manual though!!!

Has he joined the madhouse here yet? And is he coming up to the Monster weekend? He can tag along with me on the Sunday if he wants

I have mentioned the madhouse Ped. I will mention the weekender to him, not sure it's his thing! Gentle persuasion maybe ;)
