Well I fitted my DP cans to the M600 tonight and couldn't resist going for a spin. They sound amazing. Carb-icing soon kicked in though as it was cold and damp out so it sounded awfy ruff on the way home. Put it in the garage for the evening (covered in mud as I had to deliver a letter to a farm) and it smelled of burnt sugar???!!! Anyone had this before?

Absolutely delighted with the cans and the sound :D , and the bike.

no idea? are they 2nd hand cans? perhaps the prevoious owner chased heroin through them? probably a splash of something best to look in daylight. and get some pro fst! there is no excuse for carb icing.

Use Shell Optimax or the BP Esso Super Dupa Unleaded.

The smell is just road crud that gets hot on the engine/pipes. Get it on all my bikes in the wet.
