Thats what you get for abandoning the manc - Now you're a loadsamoney southerner you should be able to afford a mere £200 for parking. London, no thanks.

Bliksem ay, you must be from SA!

Are you looking for parking whilst at work or is it all day type parking for your bike when you're not on it?

If the latter, then it's a bit of a pain, you can find hire-out garages but there are very few and are usually £15+ a week, generally situated in a council estate, nice....

If it's just while at work, then NCP is good from £1 to £3 per day and some of them, don't charge as they can't be bothered (Elephant & Castle is a good example of that should you accidently end up there whilst briefly under the influence of some mind altering drug or disease, CJD for example).

I live in Dalston; park on pavement with cover on.

London wardens working for Herr Ken and The Party can and will ticket a bike parked on the pavement, because they are scum. Sadly, in London this is legal, as parking bikes on pavements is not actually allowed. Even to claim that it is your own private land, it has to be fenced off from the main pavement. I lock mine to our railings downstairs at Ground Zero, with a fu ck off pair of huge locks, and a cover. The cover is essential in scumsville London, as the ferral scrotes are only attracted to shiny things for vandalism sessions. Unfortunately, yours is very shiny, so keep it covered. Saying all this though, I see a Dark Monster parked outside a pub permanently on the path without even a lock on it, and nothing happens to it, in Whitechapel!

Bernard is 7 foot and has wonky teeth. People are stupid but not that stupid!

as for parking it is generally a difficult goat and I always feel uneasy. Having said that I always take protection and an extra set of eyeballs. Not had problems where I’ve engaged brain (a rarity) and avoid the bays. Couriers are generally b astards in the nicest possible way of course, and space is high on my list. Nothing worse than cramped scratchy situations. I tend to go public as it were ; not in a gloaty big knob way but hiding away only encourages the oink element. Bon chance etc, what with my upcoming move we could take it in turns in 8-hour shift patterns?

might I suggest you don't, it's grim North of Watford, nothing happens and it's full of bothersome peasants that have yet to grasp rudimentary English grammar (see below.....in a literal and figurative sense)
