So I'm sick of the sight of my elbows, so any suggestions? I like the look of the DP teardrops, or similar, but does anyone know of any that actually work? Not fussed on bar end ones before you start...

The DPM billet ones I have are a bit diddy, and don't show a lot of what's going on at the rear - especially nearside, but they still show a lot less elbow if correctly adjusted than the O.E. mirrors. Maybe the clip-ons help too, as they tend to tuck my elbows in more, and as Albie said they look 100% neater than a set of micky mouse ears IMO

i can live with the 'mickey mouse' rear view...but after seeing Rob and AK's mirrors.. they work and look good ;)

You may not like them Spacemonkey, me ol' china, but the Bar End ones work very well.

If you wanna try them, I should be at Box Hill on Sunday the 27th.

I have the DP teardrop. They work just fine for me and look great.

I took mine off. I never used them because of the elbow view so I just put them in a cupboard. The bike looks so much better without them :D

I've got two sets of DP teardrops, I find them crap. But then I'm pretty tall so maybe it's me wots the problem. They look good though.

I had the DP teardrops, found them crap, then fell off and broke one of them so had to go back to standards.

They may look stupid, but at least I can see what going on behind me. Mirrors are a safety feature, and I don't think you should compromise on safety...

Thanks for the quicko reply. I have to commute many miles through the cut and thrust of Londinium, and find mirrors essential, escpecially for spotting a fast approaching plod...

Pedro, you may be at Boxhill on the 27th, but I'll be under a bush on Dartmoor demonstrating How Not To Be Seen....
