help air filter

hiya guys and gals
The summer is here,well it is in Exeter,been out :D ,waking everyone up with me open air box and termis.(u know it makes sence!!!)
Anyway,ive got this filter,i know its for a Monster,but not sure which one,it wont fit in my airbox,(my bike 900M 1997),got a part number DUCATI PERFORMANCE KINGDRAGON AL3228,black & yellow filter element,also have the open airbox lid
Any ideas???????????????????????????????????????

I've done a quick google search for DUCATI PERFORMANCE KINGDRAGON, and it pops up in a couple of Italian bike forums, both to do with Monster 620ie's. Got nothing on the part number specifically, but maybe the later fuel injected bikes have a different airbox & filter so maybe that's why it doesn't fit.

does it fit on the box but the airbox lid doesnt clear the front? ie about an inch too high and in the way of the frame, if this is the case lop off the front corners of the lid. I used to have one fully cut back -didge also he posted a pic the other day, but last summer the carbs needed a good strip and clear out as water can run down the front of the tank onto the filter. I bougt a new lid carved it out but attached 2 corners from an old vhs box cut and zip tied to the carved up lid (the front) seem to have sorted this.
