S4 Rear Brakes

I recently bought some carbonne loraine rear brake pads for my S4 which have the number RX 2827 and are listed as appropriate. But - they didn't fit, they are too large. So I bought some EBC FA 47/3 which are exactly the right shape but.. the pad material is too thick to fit the caliper.

The OE items were brembo pads, anybody have the same experience?

Sorry if this sounds daft but are you sure the piston is set right back in the caliper. :D :)

Yes - pistons were all the way back the EBC pads are way too thick to clear the disk. The Carbonne pads are too wide across the plate to fit the calipers, wrong design.

Ive solved the problem - FA47/3 EBC pads are the wrong parts for a S4 Monster (and the 999 it seems) the Standard FA47 HH pads fit fine.

The Carbonne Loraine pads just dont fit even though they are listed for the S4 and Moto Guzzis.
