But.(here we go ppl!!).........in the box of bits.(oh get on with it!!!) Is two CNC type brackets.long one and a short one......ive worked out so far.....(good old internet!).thats small bracket is on the seat lock side and the other,on the other side.....now my monster is a 900 but a 1997.these exhausts were off a 99 bike, they should fit......Question is..HOW do they fit

Its really simple. I can put on Hi level sils in around less than half hour. Just take standard off and protect them. Are they two piece or one? Just take a while to align pipes where they should go and dont be in a rush. Some exhausts you may have to remove or loosen rear hangers but dont forget the left side holds the side stand and bike may fall over  When you get them in position use masking tape to temp hold them in place to sort out brackets and what bolts go where. Fit bolts and tighten securely and footrest hangers if neccessary :D
Good luck

ps 99 will fit 97

hummm and errm
knowing nothing and all that
there was a change in the way the tail light mounted at some point whcih may or may not alter the way the hangers you describe mount.

Hows that for confusion ?
