I'm thinking of buying a replacement clutch slave cylinder for my M1000 as the standard set up is a bit too heavy for my liking, its been a long while since physics lessons at school, but, the way I see it, the only way to get a lighter clutch action using the same master cylinder is to end up with the slave cylinder having less travel, due to the altered ratio in the bore size between master and slave cylinders. Has anyone fitter one of the replacement slave cylinders (from Spareshack I think) ? if so, is the claim of a 20-30% reduction in the weight of the clutch acurate?, also, has this mod thrown up any other probs like the clutch not clearing properly, difficulty getting neutral etc. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I fitted one and I think it makes a real improvment
easy to fit just make sure you bleed the air out completly.
