Bubbling paint

Hi all, I've just bought a 2001 S4 monster and seem to have a problem with a bit of paintwork on the tank blistering. It's right next to the petrol filler, I was told by the dealer that this was a common fault with the Monster as the breather for the fuel tank is underneath this position. Has anyone else had this problem and how did they remedy it. Thanks..

Not heard of this particular problem myself - if you had said the paint was peeling off of your engine then that would have been a different matter! Was it blistering when you bought it? If you have any sort of warranty then insist the dealer fixes it. Did you get it from 3X by any chance?

I have an 03 s4 and it has a tiny blister on seat cowl. Not woth worrying about tbh. :D

HI, no not from Three X, the dealer pointed it out when I bought it and I still did so I feel I can't really do anything about that now. It's not too bad, but things like that just annoy me, I must be a little picky. I'll sort it somehow I guess.. :rolleyes:
