Right stupid question of the week (for me anyway).....

What are he differences in tanks? Does the Dark tank differ in any way from the 'normal' tanks that would prevent said normal tanks being fitted to a Dark model (and I'm talking a 600 here) apart from the addition of i.e. capabilities.

And on top of that, would a 900 tank fit on a 600? Or is this a really stupid question that would normarily have me drummed out of the club?

Lastly, but perhaps not least, roughly how much have people spent in the past getting a tank resprayed (just the one colour....nothing fancy for me I'm too boring)?

the tanks fit carb to carb and ie to ie no matter what size although the shape at the base/saddle end was rounded a bit - 1999? Gary T can illustrate and I bow to his superior knowledge here. Some dark tanks are plastic. A tank spray would set you back about 130 150 depending on the inks used. have a trawl thru the back of mcn for numbers.
