any one recognise this screen or has an idea who makes it? stu bought this bike but doesnt recognise it. Im 99% sure its a french thang. crap image as scanned from contact sheet but you get the idea.

trust me it looks "well wikid" in the flesh natty old bean, similar to the RR one but a bit lower and -quite possibly- a lot cheaper. cafe racer styleee innit.

Yerbs,

Think it could be by a company called SKIDMARX? Heres a link to the page on the website for the screen which they refer to as the GS Cockpit, it does have more of a chin to it though. I think powerbronze do one that's very similar as well :)

Its off a Gilera DNA innit? Yerbs, I don't think that there skidmarx one is the same as your contact, unless it's been had at with a Dremel. Can't help you though. Have a look through "Moto" magazine or one of the many French street mags. There's loads of companies doing great things to monnies over there.

Theres a slightly flared "apron" on the hornet piccy. There's also plastic colums supporting the screen itself (where the original has a self supporting screen overlaid on the body, nicer lines, IMO). Neither of which are on the original pic.

Might be an earlier version (well it is in black & white), different bike/different fitting or someones been at it with a dremel, though why is beyond me. Anyway, the B&W piccy looks better and thats the one you liked.

didn't you ever do those spot the difference puzzles? Do I get a prize? Send me some potted canard.

they are in the black and white but because of highlights/shadows they are not visible. no prize but cheers all the same fella
