Anyone fitted a Gel battery their S4 or S4r?

The GS 'sealed' lead acid battery hasn't leaked up to now but i don't want to risk it so i am considering a Sprint Gel battery which i assume cannot leak.

I fitted an 'Odyssey' dry cell battery to my M900S and have found it to be far better than the original for starting power and especially life when un-used for several months.

My original never leaked (luckily), but that is another advantage of the Odyssey.

I'll give the Odyssey a good word, too. Huge improvement and worth paying the extra for.

After some shopping around bought a Westco AGM sealed battery, cheaper than an odyssey, hopefully almost as good!

We use Westco on the MX5 which comes with a gel battery. As far as i know it is a standard gel battery replacement, which, while superior to the ****e fitted as standard to Monsters, it is not as good as the Odyssey, which is quite unique. It is a good battery though, and as i said, superior to standard. How much etc?

Not bad-half the price of the Odyssey. Does it seem to work well??

won't know for a little while, bike is in hibernation at the moment! if weight is any thing to go by then it should be good quality, it is an AGM type so I think should be ok. :burnout:
