Sounds great - possibly be able to meet up on one of these runs rather than just watching you all go by!
Last week we had the first dry days since mid December. I used up some digging out a base for slabs to park the 'bike on and, as a reward, had a quick spin through Glencoe, round Ballachulish and Oban. Excellent!
Sounds appealing but was wondering though if these big rideouts would be suitable for a lil newbie rider like myself!? Also are there any dates available for us mortals who have to work weekends so I could try and get the day(s) off?

well im not so sure i think 550 miles is mental
cos id have t do another 100 t sunny glasgow and n 100 home again aftwards my knees would need amputating after all that cuh
will be going up west coast (troon and largs) to gourock then after a nights hotel on to ferry to dunoon and onward to glencoe.
no date set but i'll let the fellow clan members know just in case you fancy a meet on the way :D

;) Don't ferry Celt or you miss out on the Lochside road A82 only 45 mins from Troon. up to the Green Welly then on to Glencoe... :burnout:
we are going back that way from Glencoe. whats the green welly?
The Green Welly is a restaurant at Tyndrum, one of the highlands best known "tourist" stops ! Does great grub and is geared up for bikers... it even has a bike park.
i thank thee fran for the info :D
i'm riding to work again on bike. naughty because salt is still about but christ i cant help it
