I have just purchased a set of used sil moto hi level cans, I can not get them to fit my wifes 1999 M600. , will these fit the M600 to M900 monsters or are there differences?.

the sils should fit the 600,750 & 900 they are all the same
if you got them from Stuart give him a call and he'll got to
the root of the problem.

Had a bit of a problem fitting high level sils to my 900 the link pipe wouldn't fit between the swingarm and the footrest hangers, so I fitted DP rear sets, had to get some spacers made so that the rubber hose for the brake fluid didnit melt and fit a fluid pressure switch for the rear brake light, but it's worth the hassle the sils look and sound great. :D

you put your left leg in, right leg out etc.

my instructions were in Korean but luckily pleasant diagrams were enclosed.

they should be straigthtforward as coco here imparts, failing that approach the scenario as one would negative space and fit the bike onto the cans as opposed to the cans onto the bike. failing that a picture to point our breasts in the right direction.

The link pipe shape is slightly different on later bikes, it might be that your kit has the wrong ones supplied. As FB said give Stuart at spareshack a call - assuming he supplied them?

The pipes were off my 97' M900 so it has the loop arm. They only take me 20-25 mins to fit. Are you sure you have got left and right mixed. No spacers were needed other than moving Brake reservoir on to longer bolt to stop melting pipe.

I think chris has sorted it now, but I have a question on the same subject...

Would it be easy enough to fit the same pipes onto an '02 m620, maybe with a little bit of a chat with a blow torch? Or is the link pipe too different?

Cant say Nick But looked at them for s4 and totally different ends to link and length I believe.Wouldn't have sold them if could have adapted. :(

I'm pretty sure the problem would be the length of the link pipes. The 620 has
different frame than the 600.750,900.
dont quote me but I think the 620 would need a longer link pipe but I think Stuart
can get the link pipes as a seperate item.

Have sorted the righthand side out, but need to do some more work on the left hand side, there is supposed to be a bracket for the rear indicators(do you still have that Andy?),& you need to chop off the indicator mounts as well.

All sorted now, had to loosen the header pipes plus the one joined pipe & it is now sorted, just waitng for the indicator bracket & a s/s tail tidy from Stuart at Spares Shack to finish off the job :)
