Does anybody know where I can get a replacement shock for my monster?
Either that, or repair the existing (the damping has gone awol at 16,000 with a rather obvious oil leak).
I put it down to ignoring the fact that speed bumps are there for reducing your speed, not encouraging you to see how much air you can get. Ho hum.... :bunny:

Race tech do a DIY rebuild kit for the monster shock, cost about £130 I think, includes new damping valves etc and a how - to video. You'll need to get the shock re-gassed afterwards though. Never tried it but Race Tech is generally good stuff.
Your cheapest replacement unit is likely to be someone like Hagon at around £225, probably worth looking at Ohlins though, costs a bit more but is top quality and will do wonders for the bike's handling!!
