Not come across this problem/solution on the site before so here goes.
600 wont start, press go and nothing happens, checked relay and solenoid, and side stand switch (hey I have been here before!) battery fine, the bike is used daily for 2x30 mile commute! Check fuses, fuel, fuel pipe for kinks. Try engine kill switch (never used) no difference, still dead. In desparation wheel bike out onto road and try again. Fires first time! Eventually start tracing wires from kill switch and go button, check connector by the headlamp, surprisingly clean and dry. THEN, notice cable out of base of connector has a sharp kink near headstock. Oh dear wire is frayed, so by turning bars from side to side causes the frayed wire to connect!
A job for the weekend for me, guess thats going to be fun cutting and joining!!
Have fun everyone
