Picked up my S4R yesterday.. I'm stilll shaking! Decided to go for the S4R not just for the performance but for the comfort too. Wasn't sure that the S2R was that much better than my 620s in the brakes and suspension department. The S4R rides really well (I think) and the brakes are superb. Only got it yesterday so these are early thoughts. But what I wanted advise on was rear huggers ~ it obviously needs one. What have people fitted?? The carbon fibre one at spareshack, any good??

Stuart has 2 types..the one he gets in from QB, and one that is based on the one in the DP catalogue (which you cant get yet !!). Good news is that (IMO..the latter looks better, and is cheaper, but youll have to dremel/drill it and make your own brackets to attach it to the brake hose clips on the swingarm (I used some bendable 'p' clips from my mates fork lift business!!!)...a bit of greif but well worth it..looks great and really slinky !!

Congrats on your new bike BTW..!!

Cheers

I've got the QB carbon one and it fits OK. Got it from Stu.
Or an alternative is this one from BBT in Germany.

Nat.
My name is Guy I'm in Brisbane Australia. I'm after a rear hugger for my S4R the pictures you posted look to be of the one I'm after. I looked at the spareshack site but the hugger listed is different. Do you have part no, or name.or manufacturer of the hugger in the picture to enable me to identify it to Stuart at Spareshack. Would also be interested in the price you paid. guydav@optusnet.com.au
With thanks
Guy

Got the hugger (two bit one). Need a few pointers from those of you who fitted it. Does the drop down front part fit over the bit that covers the wheel and do I not bother with the brake line clips anymore. They seem to be held in place by the front part of the hugger. Any one with pics??!!
