should I be looking at cruising along the motorway at?? seems to be 5,000 is that right??

about 70mph is considered to be about right LOL

5000RPM is about 70 in 5th on my 620dark

5000 rpm on my main bike would be about 90 - 95mph

maybe what is most comfortable for you, the bike, the road condidtions, the weather conditions etc - oh and the most obvious - the speed limits :D

All depends on how strong your neck is ;) :D :burnout:

It's more to do with rider comfort than engine 'comfort' - I tend to bang it in top and let the torque do the rest - might get a bit lumpy below 50mph - but if the motorway traffic is going that slow then you should be paying extra attention to whats causing the holdup anyway.

Unless there is no option, motorways are boring and they square your tyres off :(

Anyway, what do you mean by 'cruising'? - you got a Harley? :eek:
