Welcome to the 2005 Sussex Events Diary.
Below you will find a list of events for the forthcoming year. They are not all Sussex specific, rather a combination of new, regular and repeats of those events that the Sussex Contingent attended in 2003 and 2004.
Sussex often join forces with our neighbouring counties, together with more impromptu meets at Bury Hill (Nr Arundel) on any weekend we're not already doing something...
Regular monthly meets:
Kent UKMOC meet 1st Sunday of each month - see Kent Events for details.
Surrey/Sussex UKMOC meet 2nd Sunday of each month at Boxhill, Surrey.
Hants UKMOC meet 3rd Sunday of each month - see Hants Events for details.
also: Sussex DSC meet 3rd Sunday each month at John Henry's Cafe, Findon (off A24 north of Worthing).
Please note - individual events will also have their own thread closer to the time for more detailed information. Also, to help avoid confusion, past events will be religated to italics (when I remember to!):
January
3rd (Bank Holiday Monday) - impromptu cuppa & chat at Bury Hill, from midday.
15th (Saturday) - Brands Hatch, Adrenalin-X store opening.
29th Jan - 6 Feb - Ally Pally MCN Motorcycle Show, London.
February
20th (Sunday) - Findon with DSC, then run th Newlands.
March
20th (Sunday) - Sussex joining Hants for run out west...
27th (Easter Sunday) - joint UKMOC/DSC Ducati meet at Boxhill, Surrey
April
29th April - May 2nd UKMOC Monster Weekender - Stratford upon Avon.
May
1st (Sunday) - National Rideout from Arrow Mill (Monster Weekend).
2nd (B. H. Monday) - Ace Cafe, London to Hastings May Day run.
7th (Saturday) - MotoRapido open day from 11am.
8th (Sunday) - ProTwins open day 10am - 1pm, Godstone Surrey... also...
8th (Sunday) Italian Bike Day @ The Ace Cafe, London.
June
4th (Saturday) - Desmo Due racing at Castle Coombe, Wilts.
9th (Thursday) Monster Track Day II - Mallory Park, Leicestershire.
18th & 19th Beaulieu Motorcycle Show, New Forest.
July
3rd (Sunday) Sheene Run - Ace Cafe to Rugby.
Sammy Millers Italian Bike Day, New Forest - TBC
17th Boozy's Hant's Tour III.
31st Bumbles Birthday BBQ in Kent.
August
7th (Sunday) Isle of Wight 'cup of TT' Tour III.
14th Streetfighters Day @ The Ace Cafe.
20th (Saturday) Bristol Bike Show, Bristol.
21st (Sunday) 'End of year' DSC meet @ Popham airfield, Hants.
September
3rd (Saturday) - Shoreham Airshow - pub meet.
10th (Saturday) Brighton Speed Trials - lunch etc. Evening - Ace Cafe - Rockers reunion Party.
11th (Sunday) - Desmo Due race at Brands Hatch.
17th & 18th - BMF Tail-ender @ Peterborough showground...
October
9th (Sunday) - 'Brightona' bike show and event, Brighton, Sussex
16th (Sunday) - Dave Woods Racing open day, Bucks.
November
NEC Motorcycle show, Birmingham.
Dirt Bike Show - Stoneleigh.
December
18th (Sunday) - Sussex (and Surrey & Hants) - Christmas Lunch.
